What Is vivago R1?

Announced globally on October 7, 2026, vivago R1 is HiDream.ai's AI video creation agent. Instead of generating isolated clips that you stitch together yourself, you describe your idea in natural language and a lead agent interprets the brief, builds a production plan, and coordinates specialized agents for scripts, storyboards, characters, environments, and audio. HiDream's HD-AgentOS manages the workflow and shared context across tasks, so characters, settings, and creative elements stay consistent as the project develops. The system produces videos of up to five minutes in a single production workflow, and projects can be extended through additional rounds of creation.

Review and Revise at Every Stage

A key design choice: creators can review and revise scripts, storyboards, images, and video at each stage rather than only at the end. You can supply reference materials — written prompts, images, video, or documents — to anchor the look and feel. For developers, vivago R1 also offers CLI access and compatibility with AI agents, so video production can be embedded directly into existing workflows and pipelines.
